This list is getting updated regularly so please return to check if your mobile phone is included.

If you have a query about a mobile phone that is not listed here, please email technical@satski.com directly. Satsports is currently working to get Pocket Caddy, Satski and Sports Log compatible for Apple iphone and Blackberry.

3. Will my network service provider charge me when using my Pocket Caddy application abroad?

No. Your GPS should operate independently to your telephone/mobile Internet and therefore you will not get charged for using Pocket Caddy on your phone when abroad. You can even operate Multi-sports GPS applications without your SIM card in most phones. If your service provider charges you for roaming while abroad remember to turn if off to reduce your phone bill – this will not affect your Multi-sports GPS applications from working.

4. Will my Pocket Caddy application work if I do not have telephone signal?

Yes, it will work on most phones as the GPS and telephone run independently.

5. Can I transfer my application to another phone?

Your Pocket Caddy license applies to one phone and is non transferable.

6. How can I increase my mobile phone battery life?

We highly recommend that you do the following to optimise your mobile phone battery life:

  • Switch off your wifi and Bluetooth functions
  • Make the screen switch off after 30 secs
  • Minimise frequency and duration of phones calls
  • Fully charge your mobile phone

7. What is my activation code for?

Your activation code will “unlock” your installed Satsports Software to convert it from the free demo to the full version of the software and unlock all the features. The activation process requires that your phone is connected to the Internet, either through GRPS/3G or Wi-Fi.

8. I have a PDA without the Internet. How can I activate?

If your PDA cannot access the Internet then please email your device ID to technical@satski.com. You can find your device ID from the Satsports software, next to where you enter your activation code.

1. How do I download courses to my Multi-sports GPS?

Please register or log in here to your free Pocket Caddy membership where you will find step by step instructions on how use the DIY course mapping and download the courses to your Multi-sports GPS.

If you have purchased a Multi-sports GPS with your Home Course then this will be sent you within 7 – 10 working days.

2. How do I know when my battery is charged?

When you connect your GPS to charge, a blue light will appear on the backlight activation button on the front of the GPS. When this blue light goes out, your GPS is fully charged.

3. How long does the Satsports Multi-sports GPS battery last?

It lasts 8 - 10 hours.

In order to get the best life out of your GPS device, go to Setting on your splash screen, press the Power Save tab and make sure that the Power Down Time is set to Always On and that the Backlight Off Time is set to go off after max of 1 minute (best is after 30 seconds).

Before putting the unit into your pocket or bag for tracking make sure you switch the screen lock on! This is done by sliding the power on/off button, which is situated, on top right side of the GPS, down to where it says HOLD.

When the backlight goes off and you want to see the screen, simply push on the button on the front of the GPS, below the screen and the backlight will turn on even if the unit is on screen-lock mode.

4. How do I buy extra golf courses for my Multi-sports GPS?

You can acquire golf courses for free using the unique DIY Course Mapping facility powered by Satsports.

To access DIY Course Mapping please register or log in to your Pocket Caddy membership here.

For every course you plot, you will receive 4 credits (1 credit = 1 golf course), so you can continue to obtain free golf courses.

If you prefer one of the Satsports Course Plotters to do the mapping then please email courses@satsportsgps.com with the location details of the golf course(s). There is a charge of £10 for this service, for each course.

Your course will take 7 – 10 days to map and your membership will be topped up with the necessary credits.

In the meantime, you will need to register online for your free Pocket Caddy membership here so you can access and download your course(s) when they are ready. While you are logged in, why not have a look at the DIY Course Mapping – it maybe easier than you thought!
